Every floor installed by The Vinyl Outlet is backed by a limited transferable lifetime warranty. We stand behind our work because we install only premium polyurea / polyaspartic coating systems that are engineered to outlast the building they protect.
What Our Warranty Covers
For as long as you own your home, The Vinyl Outlet warrants that our coating system will not:
- Yellow or chalk from UV exposure
- Peel, flake, or delaminate from the concrete substrate (assuming proper preparation, which we always perform)
- Crack due to normal expansion and contraction of the concrete underneath
- Lose adhesion from typical exposure to rain, snow, road salt, oil, or household chemicals
Transferable to New Owners
If you sell your home, the warranty transfers to the next homeowner one time, free of charge — a meaningful selling point that helps protect your home’s resale value.
What Is Not Covered
Like any product warranty, ours has limits. The following are not covered:
- Damage from intentional misuse, vandalism, fire, flood, earthquake, or other acts of nature
- Damage from sharp impacts that gouge the surface (e.g. dropped tools, dragging metal across the floor)
- Cracks in the concrete substrate that occur after installation due to structural shifting
- Damage from caustic chemicals not commonly found in a residential setting
- Coatings exposed to standing water for extended periods without a proper drainage plan
- Floors installed by other contractors (we only warrant our own work)
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Document the issue — take a few clear photos showing the affected area and the surrounding floor for context.
- Contact The Vinyl Outlet using the form below or by calling the number listed on our contact page. Include the photos and your installation date if you have it.
- We will respond within 2 business days with next steps. In most cases we will schedule a brief site visit to confirm the issue and discuss the repair.
- Repairs are scheduled within 30 days for warranty-covered issues. The repair itself typically takes a single day, and the warranty continues to apply to the repaired area.
Why This Warranty Matters
Polyurea / polyaspartic coatings are designed to outlast every alternative on the market — including the epoxy and acrylic products many competitors use. Our lifetime warranty is not a marketing tagline; it is the natural expression of a system that, in real-world installations across many years, simply does not fail when applied correctly. We sleep well at night because we believe in what we install.
